Scheduling Procedures - Law School Events
- Every effort will be made to respond to your requests within 24 hours.
- Events are scheduled on a first-come-first-serve basis.
- These procedures apply to the rooms listed in Rooms & Areas.
- Contact Robert Thomas to reserve library room 1328 and the King Room.
Check Room Availability & Scheduling Conflicts
- View the Rooms & Areas to check room capacity.
- View the Events Calendar and the Classroom Calendar to see if conflicts exist for the date, time and location of your event and to check class scheduling conflicts.
Room Request & Event Calendar Placement
- Fill out the Room Request Form completely; incomplete forms delay room booking.
- An email will be sent confirming your room reservation.
- Non-profit outside groups and organization events may be scheduled and added to the Law School Events Calendar pending approval by the receptionist.
Use of IT Equipment
- Fill out the Classroom Equipment Request Form completely; incomplete forms delay room booking.
- Media Services personnel will email confirmation of your equipment reservation.
- Non-profit outside groups and organization events may use classroom and Forum IT Equipment for a fee.
Additional Information
- IT Equipment- IT equipment in rooms is kept locked; use must be scheduled through Media Services to obtain access.
- Custodial Service-Events requiring custodial services must be scheduled at least 4 weeks in advance. If your event requires extra trash cans or trash removal, contact Charles King 4 weeks prior to your event at king@law.unm.edu.
- Alcohol- Serving alcohol on UNM grounds requires an Alcohol Request Form; submit the Form three weeks prior to your event.
- Student Events- Student events must be approved by Nancy Huffstutler, Associate Director of Student Affairs.
